A Case of Angioleiomyoma

Abstract

|
We present a case of angioleiomyoma occurred in a 63-year-old female who had a painful, solitary, bean sized and normal skin covered, firm nodule on the dorsal aspect of right wrist for 3 years.
Histopathologic studies showed that well circumscribed, encapsulated tumor of interlacing smooth muscle bundles and numerous vascular channels at lower portion of dermis in H & E preparation, and more prominent features observed in Masson´s trichrome staining.
Skin lesion was excised.
